書本以黃碧雲的句子作為靈感,並取名「繭」。繭除了指昆蟲在成蛹之前的狀態外,亦指皮膚因磨擦而長成的厚繭。書藉訴說了我經歷了香港一連串的社會運動及疫情後離鄉別井,到倫敦唸書的心境。文中的句子是由與香港相關的引文拼湊而成,包括王家衛的電影對白及香港作家黃碧雲的句子。
This is a book uses quotes and illustrations to tell the sense of “powerlessness” towards Hong Kong after all the protests and social movements that we had.
