Walking Through 曾走過
print making | letter press | book art
This work is created after “Cocoon”, describing the journey of moving from Hong Kong to London.
“REVOLUTION” refers to the story of “Cocoon”, and “from Argyll Street to Argyle Street” means from Hong Kong to London which connected two cities together.
The format of the snake book is chosen because it can respond to the idea of roads. When the audience is reading, they can follow the direction of the road which brings them into the work more and feel the journey in a better way. Also, letterpress is used to create the words because it has a leave-over effect, which can be seen as a sign of walking. CONTENT :

We have been walking for long time
From dust to dawn
